3.6. SW generation for the automotive industry - traffic engineering, welding shops, painting shops
Our teams of programmers create software following the requirements or assignments of our clients (usually
technological equipment manufacturers). They generate software for programmable logic controllers (PLC, SPS)
at process levels, communication, safety systems, user applications of SCADA systems at operator control levels
and communication with superior systems of planning and control of production within entire plants.
A typical example is the generation of software for the control of welding robot cells in body workshops at BMW car manufacturers and MAGNA; software for the control of traffic engineering for the transport of completed painted bodies from the store to the assembly line, etc.
The software is created following the technical task while observing prescribed standards, which secure the uniformity of tens and sometimes hundreds of PLCs forming the control systems of large technologies at welding shops, painting shops and final assembly in the automotive industry. The programs are documented in German or English. Other languages can be used as well. Operator interface is also created in the required language.
Commissioning, adjusting, testing and optimisation are carried out by the authors of the programs. If necessary, they may closely co-operate with the submitter's technologists and investor's staff. They further provide training to the maintenance and operating staffs.
